Why hasn't the FIFA scandal and the impact it will have on the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup been discussed? Helen Owton explores... Dr Helen Owton. Helen is a lecturer in Sport and Fitness in the Faculty of Education and Language Studies. She is a chartered psychologist and she completed her PhD in Sport and Health Sciences at the University of Exeter. She is an active researcher and her research specialisms lie in innovative qualitative investigations of sporting embodiment. Helen is also on the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) and enjoys running, cycling, boxing.
